This simple idea was a game-changer and today we probably take the windshield wiper for granted. As the saying goes, "you don't miss it until they're gone." 

In this final episode of season 1 of Alabama Short Stories, we learn about Mary Anderson and how a cold and rainy trip to New York City gave her the inspiration to create the windshield wiper.
