Our journey to Heaven is interrupted often as we attempt to fulfill Jesus's prayer that "God's Kingdom Come, His will be done ON EARTH as it is in Heaven." As we look around we notice that peace on earth just doesn't seem possible. Today we explore peace. Peace within, however, does seem obtainable if we focus properly on the Lord and submit to His will. The song today was written in the late 60s back in the days when it was fashionable to "wave your first two fingers toward the sky" (which was the peace sign). A fun song but not too deep. Then I explore the agape love, God's love, one of my songs which I narrated as a poem with a jazz piece. The song/poem is entitled, "I Guess I'll Have to Hug You in My Mind." Finally, the teaching is from my book, A Holy Hodgepodge. I share, "Mother," and "A Crack in the Mirror." Be blessed!
