Today's poem is "Horizontal River Rush" which was written when I was a student at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. I went there for a few years and stayed in a dormitory on the first floor that had a sealed window that looked onto the center of the campus where people would walk by. Once when it was raining, and the drops were scurrying down the glass of that window and the people were hurrying by with their umbrellas nearly lifting them off the ground, I wrote this poem. The alliteration makes the poem fun to read.
In addition, I have included a song I wrote when I was going to Miami-Dade Jr. College in 1967 or 68. "I Used to Think All Light Came from the Sun," was a pretty good song. I like the reference to light which shows in our eyes. Enjoy it!
The teaching is entitled, "Enjoy God's Son Rays."
