The Leaving the Grandstand World podcast sometimes has some very short episodes (like this one) but don't let that make you think there is no substance here. There is plenty to ponder over. The poem is entitled, "Mind of God, Mind of Mine" and everyone needs to understand that God has enabled us to share His mind but, due to the Fall, we have blind-sided ourselves to His knowledge and find ourselves in a conundrum where we put on blinders to God's freely given truth then wander around in a daze asking ourselves, "What's going on here?" Do you see that?

The song is "And I Believe It" and I hope it helps you understand the power given to us in our beliefs. You might as well believe the truth (as it is) rather than believe the world's lies (as things aren't).

And finally, "The Puzzle" is from my book, A Holy Hodgepodge. If our minds are gifts from God, they have inherent power. If we hold resentments, we are making puzzle pieces that occlude the truth of our and others' beings. Resentment blocks the light of God, hiding both God and truth from ourselves. What a shame when that happens.

Enjoy the show notes. I've added some commentary you might enjoy.
