Nobody ever goes to see a counselor and says, “Help me! I’m addicted to complaining.” Perhaps we assume that since we all do it so often, complaining can’t really be so bad. But the way the Lord responds to Israel's complaining would indicate it's more noxious than we are willing to admit.
