On this SHITuation we will be going over the current controversy surrounding the 2023 Balenciaga ad that was launched & then immediately taken down. The ad features two small kids holding bears that appear to be in BDSM attire & then to add fuel to the fire another image features a piece of paper from the Ashcroft vs The Free Speech Coalition Supreme Court Case. Though whomever approved this ad should definitely be fired & the campaign is ridiculous, there is a lot of misinformation circulating about the court case. In the episode we will address the controversy, correct misinformation about the case, & go over statements released by Bealenciaga as well as the photographer. The point of this episode is to educate on the intent of the court case in an effort to help correct misinformation circulating & to help create a better understanding of the court case.
