Listen

Description

Miles and I explore difficult and "unwatchable" movies from different angles. Some movies are too dated. Some movies are too wedded to the subcultures they depict. Some movies are too violent, risqué, or exploitative. And others are stylistically or aesthetically inaccessible to some. What do we think?

Join us in a conversation on Kings Row (Sam Wood, 1942), Suburbia (Penelope Spheeris, 1983), Celine and Julie Go Boating (Jacques Rivette, 1974), and Kuroneko (Kaneto Shindo, 1968).
