Description

Happy Goofday, All! We thought a goofy episode on relationships might go down poorly today, so we decided to drop a formerly Patreon-exclusive episode instead! Patrons got to listen to this in February; you too can listen to our content earlier by heading over to Patreon.com and signing up now!

Joel and Naomi dug into Marry Me, the Owen Wilson and Jennifer Lopez "rom-com" that dropped in February. Sure, they mostly spend the episode nitpicking the horrible concept and weird plot points like a lazy Youtube channel, but they also get into an interesting discussion about why a lot of rom-com plotting sucks, and some ways a clever writer might be able to write a kickass script and  revitalize the genre.

We strongly urge our listeners to support the work of Planned Parenthood by donating here. Patreon donations are sweet, but there are more important causes to support.
