We are wrapping up season two ( Sanctuary Life) with my husband Ken (Mr. Woody's Place).
Make no mistake about it, Ken lives this crazy #LifeWithOldDogs right along with me, and thanks to his good-natured, easy-going attitude, he makes an excellent team member that can totally be counted on at a moments notice.
Now, this is a big deal, because you see, Ken did NOT have any animals growing up. So to have lived his formative years with no cats, dogs, goats, chickens, etc. and all that implies, he really has jumped in headfirst into the four-legged and furry world (or two-legged and beaked ;)
Ya'll you don't know how grateful I am for his support and for his willingness to adapt to any given situation at a moment's notice. I am eternally grateful because he did not choose this life. He choose me, and I chose this life. If that's not true love, I don't know what is. <3
To find out how Mr. Woody's Place handles #SanctuaryLife and #LifeWithOldDogs take a listen to this week's podcast.
I'll be back in two weeks moving forward with season 3 where we will discuss common illnesses and aliments that we see here at Woody's Place Senior German Shepherd Sanctuary and how we handle them.
