The Rio Grande Guardian is running a four-part series titled Connecting the RGV to Europe.
This is Part Three and it features Alessia Paolicchi. Houston-based Paolicchi is executive director of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce of Texas. She graduated from University of Pisa Law School, Italy, and later added a Master’s degree in Personnel Administration and Human Resources Management from University of Bologna.
Paolicchi was international sales manager and production planning and scheduling for a large Italian shoe company for two years before becoming director of operations for CTT in 1997. CTT, a holding with 1200 employees, is responsible for public transportation services in the north west area of Tuscany.
Paolicchi and other members of Transatlantic Business & Investment Council visited the Rio Grande Valley for a four-day tour hosted by Rio South Texas Economic Council.
In this podcast, Paolicchi tells reporter Steve Taylor about his visit and the ways in which the Rio Grande Valley can connect more closely with Europe.
