Sexual violence is shockingly common in our society. For today's episode, Vanessa Preston will discuss the impact of sexual violence that goes far beyond any physical injuries and the trauma can be shattering, leaving you feeling scared, ashamed, and alone or plagued by nightmares, flashbacks, and other unpleasant memories. Most of women developed an eating disorder following sexual abuse. Recovering from sexual assault takes time, and the healing process can be painful.
