In this episode, Dr. Monjur Chowdhury discusses education, how it changes, including his own educational institution AlivEducation, and what brought him to the field of education.
Dr. Chowdhury is a math & science teacher and obtained his Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute in Russia, specializing in electrical power systems with a special emphasis in Renewable Energy. Dr. Chowdhury worked also as a research fellow at the School of Information Technology & Engineering at the University of Ottawa under the supervision of world-reknown control engineering specialist Prof. N.U. Ahmed. He also holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Queen’s University in Canada and Teaching certificate from Ontario College of Teachers.
