Before ascending back into Heaven, the resurrected Jesus announced to the disciples who were there and all of us who are His disciples now, something called “The Great Commission.” Detailed in Matthew 28:19–20, Jesus instructed all of us who are His disciples to spread the gospel to all the nations of the world, creating new disciples.
