Thirty-two years ago, today my son Chandler was born bringing a wave of relief, responsibility, and reverence.
Chandler’s birth is near Father’s Day, an opportunity to reflect on double milestones. Reflecting on being a father and a grandfather, I think I finally know the meaning of the sacred roles that I now get to live out, it’s all about love
Being a father is to emulate God’s love. Being a father is to provide a love that is patient, kind, and is not easily angered. Being a father is to spread the Gospel to your children not only by teaching them the Word but by living the Word.
Happy Birthday son and praise God for the blessing that it’s all about love.
