Today’s Devotional….The Lord Is My Shepherd
“The Lord Is My shepherd;” that one phase from the 23rd Psalm answers the question posed by all of us at one time or another of Who God Is?
God is a shepherd, who will not fly His migrant children out of his state to score political point. God is a shepherd who would use the surplus in his state’s budget to pay teachers, police officers and firefighters a living salary. God is a shepherd who expand Medicare instead of sticking his head in the sand as Atlanta the 39th largest city in the country in down to only one Trauma level one hospital.
God is a shepherd that we can depend on. Psalm 23 tells us with confidents that I will not lack, I will not fear and that I will dwell forever with the Lord.”
