It’s vacation season and after a year plus of lockdowns, it’s time to take some time off. Jesus took numerous vacations. He took time off to reenergized, to pray, and to spend quiet time with God. Like many of us, Jesus found it difficult to take long vacations, but he did carve out time for small sabbaticals, vacations where he took God with him. Taking time off before making a major decision, or after a heavy period of ministry and yes Jesus even took time off when he had enough people.
I hope you are planning some vacation time, even a few hours away can make a big difference, and when you do remember to vacation like Jesus and take God with you.
