In less than 60 days Nehemiah and the people of Israel had completed the monumental task of building the wall. Finally, after years of vulnerability the city of Jerusalem was safe.
After months of lockdowns, masks, and social distancing, the vaccine has given us our lives back. People are gathering again; the months of vulnerability are finally over. The ordeal of Covid 19 is nearing completion.
Even with the physical completion of the wall Nehemiah knew that completion could not be accomplished until he and Israel thanked God. So he gather the people together for a teaching of scripture in praise and thanksgiving.
As we emerge from the pandemic let us thank God for his deliverance as we rejoice in the victory that he has brought. Yes, It’s Time To Thank God!
