This week students are graduating from the nation’s schools. From preschool to college students are realizing the power of education to enlighten, to empower and to engage more fully in a life of purpose all because of the learning that took place in school.
Jesus performed a graduation ceremony for his disciples as He was ascending to Heaven. Jesus declared in Matthew 28:18 that All power has been given unto Him in Heaven and on earth and that he was transferring that power to the disciples to teach the Gospel to all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Today the class of 2023 has the power for they have learned much in school. However, their real power is what they have learned about and from Jesus. For what they have learned from Jesus can do more than enlighten, empower, and engage it can save the world.
So, let’s learn about Jesus.
