After more than 400 years in bondage God delivered the Israelites to freedom. In Number 1:1-3 God spoke to Moses telling him to take a census of the people enrolling the one who are willing and able to join God’s army.
Christians should be counted in, so that we can be counted on. That’s what the local church is all about, God’s people spreading the gospel, God’s people helping the community, and God’s people making disciples for Christ.
So, the question is can you be counted on? Can you be counted on to study and read his word? Can you be counted on love your neighbor? Can you be counted on to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
God is counting you can you be counted on?
