Biblical scholars reveal that the word compassion is used at least eight times to describe the actions and attitude of Jesus. If we are truly to be like Jesus, we need to understand the principles of the compassion of Jesus. A closer examination of today’s text along with the other examples from the Bible has led me to three principles about the compassion of Jesus that I would like to share with you today.
