1. Living a meaningful life must be done with intention. Living a meaningful life requires work. James 2:14 tells us faith without work is dead. Living a meaningful life means like the Samaritan who rescued the man who was attacked we must back up our faith with real action.
2. Living a meaningful life means being and doing the unexpected. Samaritan were hated by Jews. However, it was the Samaritan who Jesus shown to have done the unexpected being more virtuous that the Priest and the Levite. The world is filled with people who underestimate you live a meaningful life by constantly surprising them and yourself.
3. Living a meaningful life means loving the Lord unconditionally. When Jesus was asked “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” His answer was simple and direct “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind ‘and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.
