On Saturday, October 7 Hamas, the militant group that controls the Gaza Strip launched a multi-pronged attack on Israel.

Over a thousand Israelis have been killed, hundreds have been abducted and taken into Gaza. A densely populated, impoverished enclave where millions of Palestinians live under Hamas and an Israeli blockade, that has turned Gaza into what has been called the world’s largest open-air prison.

Israel has declared war on Hamas.   U.N. and Palestinian authorities say strikes have hit a hospital, homes, and mosques. At least 680 Palestinians have been killed according to the Gazan authorities.

Meanwhile in Israel, families are in mourning for those who were killed.

As they desperately seeking answers about the missing.

Today I weep for Israel, Today I weep for Palestinian. I weep for this small plot of land, claimed as Holy Land by Jews, Muslims, and Christians.

Today I weep for the people of Israel and the innocent civilians who were viciously attached, murdered, and kidnapped.

Today I weep for the people of Palestinian who have been trapped in a generational state of oppression by a government that is trying to exercise its duty to ensure the safety and security of the State of Israel.

Today, I weep for the good and lovely people of Palestinian and Israel who I visited with less than three months ago.  I pray that they are safe.

However, within my tears there is hope for in the same land where there is bloodshed now. Jesus said to the multitudes. “Blessed Are the Peacemakers, for They Will Be Called Children of God”

There are peacemakers within the multitudes of Palestinian and Israel. I pray for their blessings as they bring peace during this time of war.
