Who is the best company to rent a car from in 2022? We take a look at all the major companies and see who ranks the worst and who ranks the best.
Renting a car can be a daunting task and prices are not that competitive so it is important to pick the right company that will back you up if there is a problem.
My name is John Michael and I love to travel but have also worked in the travel industry. In fact, I spent several years working for a rental car company so was able to learn things about the rental car industry from the inside and why you should rent from one company and maybe not some other company.
Among the things we look at when developing these reviews is 1) Personal experience. Experience with the company is necessary to know how good they are and how they react when something goes wrong. 2) Prices - Sometimes you can get really great deals on some cars from one company or another but overall what you would be considered low-cost auto rental firms don't necessarily have the lowest prices. 3) Number of locations - a rental car company is not good for you if they don't a location where you need one. 4) How pushy are their employees, do you have to tell them no a hundred times or do they threaten you if you don't take coverages? 5) Quality of the cars - this one is a little harder lately with a lot of rental car companies cutting back on their fleet and keeping their cars long but the question is, how well are they maintained?
