If you are experienced in planning a trip sometimes things can go wrong. Whether it be the lodging facilities you have booked turn out to be less than you expect, mother nature interfering with plans for your daughter's birthday, or the rental car you rent is a little on the small side.
In this week's episode, I tell you about a trip to Detroit that we took my family on a couple of years ago. We had just bought our first home so we needed to try to keep the budget for this trip low but still wanted to take the trip since the primary purpose was to visit my aunt who is my parent's last living sibling and she is in her early 90's.
Therefore we tried to save money when it came to our rental car and motels which never seems to work out. Is it possible to put three teenagers in the back of a Hyundai Sonata?
