Written and by Janice Hoffmann
Stories by Janus are nonfiction memoir shorts, formerly Creative Mindfulness, which appeared in The Claremont Courier, and are available on their website and podcasts. The rebranding is named after the Roman mythological god J-a-n-u-s, more often pronounced with a long “a”. Janus looks in two directions, to the future as well as the past, metaphorically seeing a different slant than what one would first glean, just like the narrator we know, Janice Hoffmann.
After leaving the working farm of her childhood, Janice had two careers and traveled to over 60 countries. Now she spends her Southern California days walking her dog, writing, and reflecting on things done and left undone.
For your daily five-minute dose of relaxing with a smile on your face while pondering, please join Stories by Janus wherever you get your podcasts.
