Rusty Matyas is a producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Winnipeg, Manitoba with over 25 years of experience in the Canadian music scene. He's been a member of numerous successful acts including the Weakerthans, the Waking Eyes, Imaginary Cities, and The Sheepdogs. Since earning the 2014 Western Canadian Music Award for Producer of the Year, Rusty's work can be found in hundreds of singles and albums - including Leonard Sumner, Sierra Noble, JP Hoe, and more - as well as a number of podcast themes and advertisements. He currently performs and records as Rusty Robot. Rusty talked very openly with some of his ups and downs and how he maintains positivity in his life.
