Overtraining is a term I believe is overused and that many people lean on as an excuse to why they aren't pushing hard enough in the gym. Under Recovering is a different story.
When your body isn't able to recover from the amount of stress you apply through training, nutrition and life; you will not be able to adapt and recover WHICH means you will be limited by the results you can earn.
With working out there is a bell curve. Not enough applied stress through workouts = slow or stalled results. The same thing happens on the other side. Too much applied stress through workouts and life = slow or stalled results.
