Renato Babalu Sobral is as old school as a fighter gets.
Babalu takes us on his journey from fighting in no rules bouts in Brazil to his transition to living in the United States. Babalu is an early Marco Ruas prodigy and a proud representative of the Luta Livre system. This interview is a wild ride and it includes long time teammate, former roommate and good friend Erik Apple.
Babalu does NOT give interviews and it took us over a year to finally get him to commit; Erik Apple's relationship with Babalu allowed us to ask questions about subject material that Babalu would normally balk at answering.
