Richard Heard fought in the early days of the modern sport, winning an 8 man tournament in Japan before fighting in the Ukraine and Brazil. We caught up with "Red" on the phone to go over what happened on some of the wildest shows from the mid-1990's.
Heard left the sport to become a California sheriff, but he has never stopped participating in tournaments and as a referee. He has earned his JJ black belt and he is a hell of a conversation. Meet "Red" Heard, probably for the first time!
