He currently works as a consultant for individuals needing assistance with the background process for various law enforcement agencies. He discusses his own childhood trauma, which included considerable instability, neglect and abandonment by both of his parents. He recalls critical incidents that occurred during the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles in 1992, and how his PTSD reappeared after the BLM riots started in 2020. He shares about his battle with prostate cancer which began in 2017, and how the love from his wife ultimately saved him from a life of despair.
