Description

This week on That's SO EDVOLUTIONARY, we dig into the origins of our western way of looking at the world so we can better understand why we do what we do in education.  Often, our conventional beliefs about human beings or lens on 'how the world works,' is just "culture masquerading as nature," as anthropologist James Suzman says.

Once we catch a glimpse of why we believe what we do--it is hard to unsee the implications of these beliefs for all human beings.  And--as educators, school leaders, parents and a concerned citizenry-- it forces us to make a choice about how we want to be going forward.
