In Northern Italy, there is a small forbidden island with a dark history. It was a drop off place for dead bodies and those that were dying. Later on, it became a quarantine area for the Bubonic Plague. Afterwards, it became a place for a crazy asylum. We will never know how many people actually died on the island, but it's definitely a huge amount.
