Becoming a wife and mom are the proudest moments of my life but just because that is what works for me, does not mean that is best for everyone. As parents our responsibilities revolve around our children but it does not mean that our time holds more value than those who are kid-free. I have been on both sides and definitely felt the "Well, she doesn't have kids..." in regards to my time as a kid-free person. Heck, I was even mocked as being "busy" because how could I really be busy if I didn't have kids?
