Did you know…

Women with urinary incontinence during pregnancy had 235% increased odds of a postpartum depression (PPD) screen. And, if urinary incontinence was present in the postpartum period, the odds increased to 380%.

In this week’s episode motherhood wellness expert Alyson Hempsey and women’s health expert and pelvic floor physical therapist Dr. Marcy Crouch, are talking all about how your pelvic floor impacts your mental health along with the long-term societal effects that pelvic floor health has on women, especially in the work-place.

Be sure to join us every Wednesday for new episodes of No Mama Left Behind. We share a variety of topics related to motherhood, pregnancy, the postpartum period, recovery, mental health, vaginas, and everything in between!

Do you have a birth story you’d like to share? Email us at hello@nomamaleftbehind.co and we will read it on air!
