In today's episode, pelvic floor and women's health expert Dr. Marcy Crouch and motherhood wellness expert Alyson Hempsey talk all about The Vagina. Together they discuss shame pertaining to vaginas, what is and isn't normal, and the question, "will sex ever feel the same after having a baby?" Sex will feel different, your vagina will feel different, because something different happened to your body. That doesn't have to be a negative thing, Mama!
Dr. Marcy and Alyson also discuss stigmas that are often related to women's bodies, bodily functions (like queefing), along with their personal experiences of being vagina owners.
Content Warning: Dr. Marcy talks about the cultural practice of Female Genital Mutilation.
