Description

Wanting to spread Holiday Cheer this season but don't know where to start? I've got you covered! This episode gives you 5 different content ideas you can use over the holidays.

Why should you be creating content this time of year? Because our brains are constantly looking for fun ideas, gifts, and sparkly lights. Listen in to get ideas for your videos.

Video Idea #1: Show your product! If you have a product to sell, I hope you're highlighting its amazing features through video. And not just showing your products, but show them in a way that will check the box your audience is looking for. Try grouping your items into categories like 'Gifts for Him',  'Stocking Stuffers,' or 'Gifts for Teachers' to attract your audiences attention.

Video Idea #2: Unbox what you're already purchasing. We love to watch unboxing videos. So if you have new equipment or product flooding your doorstep this time of year, share it with your audience. This is the time of year to get creative, because we're all looking for gift ideas. If I were ever going to demo the makeup I use to get camera-ready, it would be during the holidays.

Video Idea #3: Display your décor or seasonal packaging materials. This can be as simple as doing a Live in front of your Christmas Tree. Spreading joy and cheer doesn't have to be anything massive or creative, just showing a decorated space in your home can spread holiday magic. Or, if you offer seasonal packaging and materials, show it to your audience.

Video Idea #4: Share your goals and upcoming product launches. This is the time of year when us goal-setters really start to get our wheels turning. Reflect on this past year or share what your goals are for next year. This also a great way to start seed planting for any future products or services you're going to release in 2022!

Video Idea #5: Incorporate your personal life. Sharing the details of your life and family can be an excellent way for your audience to feel like they know you. Stick to your own personal boundaries of course, but if you're comfortable sharing something, now is the season to do so. Even if it's a picture of your cat or just the name of your spouse, allow your audience a glimpse into your life.

I hope you enjoy these! Try one or all of them this holiday season.
