Description

The HOW's and WHY's of beginning a Quiet Time routine:

  1. Schedule quiet time in the same spot as your previous nap time
  2. Go over ground rules and expectations with your child
  3. Incentivize with treats / rewards
  4. Work your way up to 60 minutes slowly
  5. Set your child up in the same manner as you previously would for a nap
  6. Provide them with quiet activities
  7. Set a timer (The Time Timer and / or Hatch Rest)
  8. Stay patient!
