The Most Common Baking Mistakes:

  1. Using ingredients that aren’t at the right temperature
  2. Not rotating baked goods in the oven at least once during the baking process, to ensure an even bake
  3. Checking items too frequently
  4. Not chilling dough before baking
  5. Not reading the recipe all the way through before getting started
  6. Not measuring nor prepping all ingredients beforehand
  7. Not properly measuring ingredients  
  8. Not creaming butter and sugar for at least 8-10 minutes -- when they light and fluffy, they mean it.
