It’s been over a year since the world shut down, and we’ve all been suffering in one way or another—feeling isolated, losing important relationships, struggling with political and social views different from our own. Our instinct is sometimes to keep the struggle inside and hope it disappears. But the truth is that the only way through the suffering...is to start talking about it. So today we talk, we listen to some wisdom from activist and author Alice Walker, and just maybe we walk away with new ideas and words to help us move through and find meaning in the suffering.
