Samantha is the embodiment of the saying “anything is possible.” When the odds seem to continuously stack against her, she made it. She survived.
Sam bravely shares with us her journey through childhood trauma and mental illness that lead up to her drug and opiate addiction that began at the age of 13. Along with dangerous behavior that ultimately ended with her incarceration.1 We discuss what it was like for her when her body and mind found the escape she desperately searched for through opiates.
