We always like to talk about healing on the podcast and how that looks different for everyone. This week I talk with Sarah from Brooklyn, NY and her story is just that and more. Last year, during the inception of the Covid-19 pandemic, Sarah bravely made the choice to start her sobriety journey. Shortly after making her choice, she decided to go public with her journey via Instagram and since then her followers have blossomed into much more than just a platform to document her trek through sobriety. It’s become a community of friends and ally’s. We chat about the events that ultimately led up to her decision to kick the booze, what programs did and and didn’t work for her and how she navigates through life when alcohol seems to always be on the menu.
To follow along her journey and be a part of her growing community you can find her on Instagram and TikTok @shestayssober (https://www.instagram.com/shestayssober/ ) (https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMdcD76Tm/)
