April Waugh, a NASA engineer from Denver, bravely dives deep into her story to share her journey through mental illness. Her battle began at the age of 16 when she starts to notice changes but is unable to pin point the cause. It wasn’t until later in life when she began to experience suicidal thoughts and courageously sought help from a physician, that she discovered her illness was linked to a family history of mental illness. April shares what helped her gain control of her life, how she manages her health and discusses the importance of awareness.
