Description

We all have strengths and weaknesses, the light and the dark part of our personality. However, many of us usually choose to conceal our weaknesses until we get triggered. And when we are triggered, our response could either be defending (a rejection of the part of ourselves we do not want to show off) or accepting (knowing that both our strengths and weaknesses are our superpowers and they are just a flip of a coin). In fact, this is what it means to take responsibility for who you really are, which is an antidote to beating yourself or blaming others or your circumstances.

This is needless to say easier said than done since we normally react negatively when we are triggered. But taking a pause and giving yourself some space to breathe in and breathe out could also give you the time and the power to choose how to respond at the moment. Briefly, today's guest shares with us a three-way process of managing our triggers which she calls ART. A for Attention; R for Reflection; and, T for Transformation.

In this episode, we will treat you with another realistic hack on how to juggle multiple roles such as being a wife, a mom, a teacher, an actor, and a director among others. Plus, you will be given an idea of how the enneagram could help us not only fully embrace ourselves but also increase self-awareness and ultimately enhance self-care so we can better take care of others.
