Description

Many of those who take shifts in life courses such as career change have done so after a particular "Aha!" moment or eureka. For Steven, it was more of a series of small shifts. Specifically, his readiness and willingness to finally get sober after he started suffering the psychological and legal consequences of being an alcoholic.

When he finally had enough of those consequences, that was when he consciously navigated his journey forward and took on several independent yet related micro changes which include overcoming obesity, conquering a toxic work environment, triumphing over alcoholism, and, lastly, getting a spiritual connection to something greater than himself.

Being a slow learner and less adaptive to change himself, he resonates with one particular wisdom from another coach which is called "Courageous Imperfect Action". This system underscores that anyone who wants to change doesn't have to wait for perfection but to take action even in the face of fear. In addition and in order to guarantee success in this transformational journey, Steven's advice is for one to chunk things down, take small bites, and do it one at a time. This is quite an episode to kick off 2022!
