Description

In a fancy private school where he was one of the poorest students, Francisco was once asked to tell a story in front of his seventh-grade classmates. While that terrified him, he got excited that it might be something that could make a difference in his being an unpopular kid. Fortunately, they liked his story and that gave him one glorious moment of feeling like he was the most popular kid in school. That personal contact with the power of story and storytelling would years later pave the way to his becoming a story coach.

Poor remuneration potentials of journalism and communication jobs took him away from his passion and got him stuck at a good-paying for a long time. However, the rest of his life flashed before him when he learned he was expecting a second daughter. That served as his turning point, and finally, he launched himself as a story coach just before the pandemic. Understanding that story is a real-life example that one could use to make a point, he is now working with people who use stories in their respective fields in many different ways by helping them do so in the most effective, engaging, and resonating way to people they want to reach.

Francisco Mahfuz has always loved speaking, even before he had anything useful to say. He's been telling his stories in front of audiences for close to a decade, and even became a National Champion of public speaking.
