WOW! That seems like a pretty tall order for us girls, right?
It often seems like from sunrise to sunset we are running ragged —hustle to hustle—family career home friends...
Life simply gets too busy with living to fit in one more thing, even praising God.
My name is Pat Layton, and this is your Permission to Pause Podcast.
This is a podcast for women who love Jesus but simply find it tough to to just be Him.
My prayer is that Permission to Pause will become a quiet place that will provide you with a time “anytime between sunrise and sunset” for you to step away from the hustle, to ponder a Word from the Lord, to hear a little story and to pray a simple prayer that gives you the strength you need for your journey

Charles Stone‘s book “Holy Noticing” teaches that between stimulus and response, there is a space.
Permission to Pause is that kind of space.
This short weekly devotional style offering will help you find space to acknowledge God‘s presence in the middle of the hustle.
To consider His Word and to Just Breathe in His Love For You!
No pressure. No guilt. No assignment
Just pause breathe and be with Jesus.
Just because you love Him and He loves you.
I will provide you with notes to be used if you desire a deeper dig during the week, but for these short episodes, let’s just take a few minutes to quiet our hearts and rest our minds. Get still, lean your head back, and maybe up. Imagine Jesus sitting where ever you are because He is!
