Description

Guess what? If you were born between the mid 1960's and 1979, you are a Gen X'er!

It's the week after Mother's Day and we are talking about all things motherhood. Whether you are a mother or are reflecting on your mother, we all have mothers in our lives who have affected who we are. We thank them, applaud them and love them.

Join Cam and Amelia as we walk down memory lane and discuss the freedom of being children in the 1970's, being latchkey kids, having chore lists and riding our bikes all over town. We talk about how these experiences have shaped who we are as mothers.

Fast forward 40 years where kids are glued to screens, shuttled to soccer, volleyball, baseball and swimming and have information at their fingertips. Us 70's kids have learned how to approach the world in a whole new way as we watch our kids navigate the information age.

Gen X kids had to wait in line to use the phone, look up numbers in a paper phone book and shopped for Christmas presents in the Sears catalogue. Millennial kids use cell phones, Google things and shop online. Oh what a difference!

We cover all things mothers; from the cool things our moms did to the ways we wanted to be different from them. This is a fun and happy episode, ya'll. We hope you'll join us.
