Protein, it's a constant battle, isn't it? How long have we been preaching, "Eat more protein!"? Protein is essential for building and maintaining muscle and we know that in midlife, we have to actively and intentionally build muscle. Even Cam and Amelia aren't immune to the struggle.
This episode is a reminder of how important protein is. Protein packs a measly 4 calories per gram and is made of up of amino acids. If you are NOT prioritizing protein, chances are your bone density is suffering, you feel hungrier and less satisfied, and you may be packing on unwanted pounds.
