Boy, we should NOT sing! Ha! Ha! But we're on the brink of summertime and that is reason to SING!
Most of us think of running through sprinklers, going to the beach, the smell of freshly cut grass and the sounds of children in summer. But summer is also time of tremendous bounty of fresh foods! So what do we eat in the summertime? Generally, we think of cooling foods, foods with high water content and foods we can eat outside during summer. This could be anything from watermelon, to summer squash, to crispy lettuces, to crunchy cucumbers.
In this episode of the Midlife Mommas we talk about OUR favorites summertime foods. We discuss how we discover new ways to prepare old favorites, and how to stretch a meal (a favorite topic for Amelia and Cam).
