Is belief in God unreasonable and irrational? Or could reason actually lead us to the belief that not only does God exist, but also that He knows and loves me? The Catholic Church's Catechism teaches that "man's faculties (reason, etc.) make him capable of coming to a knowledge of the existence of a personal God." While belief in God as three Persons in one is a matter of faith, the knowledge of a personal God has been proclaimed by the Church as something which can come about through the light of pure reason. On today's episode of the podcast, I am joined by a world renowned philosopher, Dr. Josh Rasmussen, to discuss his book "How Reason Can Lead to God."
